How long do we have the venue?
If you're getting married on a Friday or Saturday, you'll have access from 8:00 AM to midnight. For Sunday weddings, it's 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. Plenty of time to get ready, celebrate, and soak it all in!
Can we have a DJ or live band?
Definitely! You're welcome to bring in a DJ or live band—we just have a few sound guidelines we ask you to keep in mind to be respectful of our neighbors and the property.
Can we bring our own alcohol?
Because we hold a 3-way liquor license through the state of Indiana, all alcohol has to be provided by us—just like at a bar or restaurant. No outside alcohol is allowed, and guests can’t take drinks off-site. We include a bartender for the first 4 hours of service, and you can add up to 2 more hours if needed ($25/hour). If your guest count is large enough to require a second bartender, we’ll take care of that too—also $25/hour.
What are your bar options?
You’ve got a few ways to go! - Cash Bar: Guests buy their own drinks. - Hosted Bar: You cover the drinks—choose beer and wine only, or add mixed drinks. - Combo Option: Host beer and wine, and let guests purchase mixed drinks. You can also add fun touches like his-and-hers cocktails or a specialty drink bar during cocktail hour.
Can we bring our own decorations?
What about candles? Yes and yes! You’re welcome to bring your own decor. Candles are totally fine as long as they’re in a container (like a vase or votive) to keep the flame and wax contained. We just ask that you skip glitter, confetti, or anything that sprinkles all over the tables.
How many people can the venue hold?
We can host up to 300 guests and we have tables and chairs for everyone. We’ll work with you to create the best layout for your guest count.
Do we have to use certain vendors?
Not at all! You’re free to use any vendors you like or DIY if that’s your thing. *The only exception is bar service—because of our liquor license, all alcohol must go through Abram Beverage Service.*
Can we take engagement photos at the venue?
We’d love that! As long as there’s not an event going on, you’re welcome to come out for a one-hour photo session. Just schedule it ahead of time so we can make sure the space is available.
Can guests leave cars overnight?
Of course! We want everyone to stay safe. If anyone needs to leave a car, no problem—just make sure it’s picked up by 9:30 AM the following morning so we can get ready for the next event.
Can we get ready on-site?
Yes! We’ve created beautiful, comfortable spaces just for that. - Bridal Suite: Five makeup vanities, full-length mirrors, a dressing area, couches, and lots of outlets. - Groom’s Suite: A relaxing space with couches, tables, a dressing room, mirrors, and bar.
Is the venue climate controlled?
Yes! Indiana weather can be a little unpredictable, so our space is fully climate controlled to keep you and your guests comfortable year-round.
Is the venue handicap accessible?
It is! We have paved parking, sidewalks, a concrete patio, handicap parking close to the building, and accessible restrooms.
Where can we have the ceremony?
You’ve got options! - Peninsula Site: Surrounded by water with views of the vineyard, keyway arbors, and fountain. - Front Lawn: Rose bushes, the pond, and the red barn as your backdrop. - Covered Porch: A 100-foot porch with views of the water—perfect for up to 200 guests. - Indoor Options: Three indoor ceremony spots available for backup or inclement weather.
Do you provide table linens?
We don’t provide linens, but we’re happy to recommend companies where you can rent or even purchase them—buying can sometimes be more budget-friendly!
Do you allow fireworks?
Yes! Fireworks are allowed with a few safety guidelines in place. Approval is weather dependent, especially during dry conditions. If you're interested, just reach out so we can walk you through everything. **Sparkler send-offs are also allowed!** Just follow a few simple rules: - Use sparklers outdoors only - Have a designated adult to hand them out and light them - Keep water buckets or fire extinguishers nearby - Be mindful of surroundings and guests
